We made it! It's the final Weekend Update of 2025!

It's officially the Last Days on Hill (LDOH) for the season, and we're running an open ski and ride format from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday: no lessons and no bus transportation.

Saturday's forecast calls for calm, springlike weather, while Sunday could see snow showers and breezes picking up again as winter tries to hang on into April.

Pop into Bumble Cafe for lunch this weekend and give the volunteers a thank you for cooking up those delicious specials all winter!

2026 memberships and passes will go on sale in just a few weeks so stay tuned to your email and social media as you'll want to get in early!

RENTAL EQUIPMENT RETURN

Please speak with Colin in Rentals to return your rental equipment. No unscheduled drop-offs. Equipment must be returned by May 1st to avoid a fee. 

Gear pickup at schools will also occur on the following dates:

April 15- McQueen

April 16- Reed

April 17- Galena 

Boots must be buckled, and all names and stickers must be removed! 

Snowboard leashes must be returned, or there will be a charge for the leash.

Skiers and Snowboarders revel in navigating uncharted territory, where sliding on snow becomes a personal expression of individuality and growth. Through the guidance of our volunteer instructors, new opportunities transform challenges into milestones that shape their journey far beyond the mountains, often in the face of adversity. 

Our Why We Sky video series follows unique stories and individuals reflecting Sky Tavern’s five values: Fun, Climb Your Mountain, Integrity, Explore, and Family First. Learn more about our mission and values, and subscribe to our YouTube channel to catch all our episodes.

Family First, our fifth and final episode, drops in April!

UPCOMING EVENTS

MAYDAY, Saturday, May 31- Celebrate the opening day of the bike park with family activities including food trucks, zip line, vendors, shuttles, live music, and so much more.

Women's Camp Weekend, June 21-22- A weekend of women's mountain bike clinics, camaraderie, camping, and community. Registration opens soon (limited spots).

Sky Tavern at the Reno Aces, Sunday, June 29- Cheer on the hometown Aces and raise funds for Sky Tavern programs.

Riders in the Sky Mountain Bike Skills Clinics schedule for youth and adults will be announced next week!
