Episode II of our Why We Sky series presented by Reno Orthopedic Center (roc) explores the drive of our community to overcome personal mountains through the outdoors. First-time skiers, seasoned instructors, and staff are all learning to become someone who CAN.
Although Sky Tavern has taught snowsports for over 75 years, the organization continues to climb its mountain, embarking on a snowmaking installation project six years ago. The snow guns ferociously came to life in February, adding a crucial layer to ensure programs and operations are sustainable for future generations.
