VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP!

 

It's the email you've all been waiting for! We're merely days away from the most exciting time of the year — opening weekend, and it's time for us all to sign up for our Volunteer positions. Volunteering is a requirement of the program. Working together, we make the Junior Ski Program a success!

 

Each volunteer is required to participate at least 2 hours per day. We need volunteers all day, not only in the morning. 

 

Please take a close look at the options below. The position you sign up for is valid for the entire season. If you wish to make a change, please see the front desk. Please check in with your department head each morning. It is crucial to be on TIME.

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

PARKING LOT- Parking Direction

 

Assist drivers with entering the parking lot and directing to open spaces. Checking badges upon entrance. – OUTDOOR POSITION 

PARKING LOT- Monitoring

 

Patrol and monitor parking lot – OUTDOOR POSITION

 

Front Desk 

Assist members with questions, registration, bus drop-off/pick-up forms, Lost and Found, and cash/credit sales for food and/or specialty sales (NOTE - THOSE HANDLING CASH MUST BE TRAINED ON REGISTERS) 

Cafeteria Register 

Entering orders for breakfast and lunch. Lunch time is busy! (NOTE - THOSE HANDLING CASH MUST BE TRAINED ON REGISTERS, Please show up early for training)) 

Lodge Monitor Inside 

Monitor lodge activities to ensure children are in class, conduct restroom checks, empty trash cans, answer general questions, checking badges and volunteer jobs. – INSIDE POSITION 

Lodge Monitor Outside 

Monitor lodge activities to ensure children are in class, empty trash cans, answer general questions, and check badges- OUTSIDE POSITION  

Kitchen 

Assist with cooking breakfasts, prepping for lunch, and kitchen cleaning 

BBQ 

Clean up the BBQ area from lunch

Lifts- Carpets 

Assist lift operators in checking Lift Badges/Daily Passes, keep classes together on lifts, organizing kids in the lift lines and help kids on Rocco and Webster- OUTSIDE POSITION ON SNOW. REQUIRES ABILITY TO WALK UP THE MOUNTAIN.

Lifts- Chair 

Assist lift operators in checking Lift Badges/Daily Passes, keep classes together on lifts, organizing kids in the lift lines and help kids on Rocco and Webster- OUTSIDE POSITION ON SNOW. REQUIRES ABILITY TO WALK UP THE MOUNTAIN.

Class Organizer

Organize students into ski/board classes and assist with placing late students into classes and to/from bathrooms, getting late kids in a class. OUTSIDE POSITION ON SNOW.

Scanner 

Scan kids in and out. Every morning kids will be scanned at their lesson area. Phones are provided to scan, or you may use your own phone (at your own risk and your own data) 

Tune Room 

Assist members with tuning and waxing skis and snowboards. (We will train you) (NOTE - Those handling cash must be trained on registers) 

Ambassadors 

For returning members of the program. Assisting with general questions and directions. 

Instructor- Registered 

as Support Member 

You would like to be an instructor but registered as a Support Member. We teach you to teach. 

Sky Bridge 

Child is registered as a SKY BRIDGE student (Skier Age 6-7, 3P and above) 

Grommets 

Child is a Snowboarder (Age 4-7) 

Floater

This position fills in when needed. TIMES AND JOB WILL VARY!

  • BE ON TIME!
  • YOUR CAR IS YOUR LODGE! Please do not dress in the lodge as space is very limited. 
  • Junior Ski Program Begins This Weekend, January 18-19!

ARRIVAL & PARKING

Help us help you! Please arrive on time. Enter the parking lot through the second entrance, and park closely! If you haven't caught our Emmy award-winning informative parking etiquette video, we highly suggest you take a few seconds to tune in. 

Proper parking Etiquette. Don't leave home without it.
