NOON UPDATE
(The Moms gave me 7 minutes to write this before I had to get back to work getting this place ready for the weekend)
We still have no idea how much help we have but charging ahead with opening for three days this weekend.
Friday 3/30, there will be no buses and just be open skiing. We will need help!!!!!!!! Kids will still want to eat and we do not know how many lifts we can run because of the lift operators having real jobs during the week.
If you want to show this place to your neighbors, bring them. It will cost them a little money ($40 adults, $20 kids, Veterans are free) and rental gear will have to be from somewhere else, like Bobos, Slopestyle Sports or even Curtis' across the parking lot.
Saturday 3/31 Regular day buses and all.
Sunday April 1st. Easter and April Fools Day. Buses, yes.( we have 22 kids signed up. Why we are broke.) Lessons, no idea . Games, yes. We need someone to hide some eggs!
To be honest Sky Tavern has always closed on Easter because of family and personal beliefs. We are going to run because Mother Nature did not play well with kids this winter. We will be low on help and will cut the day short to 2 PM so dinners can be prepared. We may not be able to run all the lifts. .
We are getting to the end of ski season one way or another. If Sky can keep going, it will. If no one shows up or snow disappears, we take the hint and go watch the Aces. Still snow here, so ski.
Other resorts put out deals this time of year. Take a look. Mt.Rose and Diamond Peak are both right down the street and both have deals for other season pass holders. That's you!
Click and check them out. Moving on from Sky is alright as long as you keep skiing.
It looks like storms might be back in a week or so. We will need some by then.
