General Member Orientation Night.

Thursday, December 14^th, 7 PM at the truly creepy Plumas Gym.

Last chance in town to talk about how we get this done. How Support Members make the hill run and what everyone needs to do to make this 76-year-old program go. We are getting to that time when panic starts to set in about the holidays so in-town meetings give way to shopping and parties.

There will still be more time for questions at upcoming orientations at the ski hill announced soon and a very long detailed orientation email will hit your inbox. The goal is to not have anyone dazed or confused on opening day. I would love to give you a firm date on getting together at Sky Tavern but it is going to depend on snow. Hang tight. It is coming.

Adaptive Program is getting together at the same time.

While I am answering general questions the Adaptive Program would like to get their group together. Anyone signed up or wanting to help in Adaptive please come to the Plumas Gym Thursday night at 7 pm. Adaptive is going to meet in one of the side rooms and get to know each other. So Mom, Dad, kids, instructors, and helpers. If you are part of Adaptive, show up, please. Chuck will be taking role!

Get your rental skis fitted. All that gear goes back in the box before we open so get outfitted soon, please.

Two things are coming your way!

1. If you are signed up as an instructor you will be getting an email from FLAIK. This is important. It is an invitation to use the Sky Tavern Instructor System. IT IS NOT A HOLIDAY SCAM! Open it and follow the instructions, please!
2. The envelope my granddaughter is holding is your passes. They are starting to get mailed out. There are weeks of prep to get these done so if yours does not show up right away, no panicking. Cheryl is going as quickly as possible. She has years of experience getting this done. There are more instructions in the envelope for the kids to follow. These are the most important documents we send out. Put them on your refrigerator and have the kid follow them. You'll get it, trust me.
