Instructor on-hill training is happening on Saturday and Sunday, December 9th and 10th.
9 to noon at Sky Tavern.
This is for all instructors but SkyKid parents can skip this. They will have a training day later for those little guys and gals.
This is the chance to get the instructors, skiing, and snowboarding, all on the same page for kids. It will be the same lessons repeated each day according to boss Eric. Pick one day. The whole process plus more tricks and techniques training will happen again before we open. The better-trained instructors Sky has, the better days the kids have. Even if you signed up as a Support Member and want to give instructing a try, come up, please.
You will be outside on the snow so bring your gear. There is not enough snow to run any lift but enough to keep skis and snowboards out of the mud. This is a week before Sky planned to have anyone on snow, so a way to go in getting this place set up for the 2024 season.
Our "Nah, I don't sleep much" 20-something ONE WHEEL riding, employee, Lars, has been making snow as often as he can, as in all night. He has a deal with Mother Nature, so between the two Sky is looking better. (The snow uphill from the snowcat is much better than the mud next to it!)
