The Rib Cook Off FUNdraiser is coming up quickly and we might have a LEMONADE BOOTH!

We have an opportunity to volunteer at the Rib Cook Off with a LEMONADE BOOTH. The Rib Cook Off begins Wednesday, August 31 through Monday, September 5. In order for us to accept this Booth, we need 41 volunteers to help. The morning shifts are from 10:00 am - 3:30 pm. The evening shifts are from 3:30 pm - 9:00 pm. To encourage our young members in helping with this worthwhile adventure Sky Tavern will pay our teenage members & friends $50.00 per shift worked. Teenagers that are 13 to 17 years old must be mature, responsible, and requires little to no supervision to work at the booth. You will be preparing and serving lemonade, bottled sodas and water to our guests. A clean and organized work environment must be maintained. We also need adults to volunteer at the lemonade booth as well.

Please submit your shift request by August 21st. All schedules are on a first come-first schedule. We encourage friends and family members to volunteer for this FUNdraiser. If you will be volunteering with a group, please sign up at the same time so we can ensure you're together if possible. If we cannot fill the shifts we will not be able to have the lemonade booth. 

This is a FUN event that greatly benefits the Sky Tavern University Training Program.

THIS WEEKEND! Onewheel Presents: 2022 Race for the Rail at Sky Tavern!

Come join us for the Onewheel World Championships!

Twenty-eight of the best Onewheel riders in the country will take on a brand new course and terrain at Sky Tavern in Reno, Nevada with $27,000 on the line. This boardercross style race promises to be a high octane format. Who will get to the bottom first and cement their place in history? We're about to find out.

• Women's race is Friday, August 20th
• Men's race is Saturday, August 21st
• Celebration and Live Music immediately following final race on Saturday
• Full schedule TBA

Spectators are welcome after 3pm to the venue. $20 per person and kids under 14 are free! Parking is included with your admission but is limited. Carpooling is encouraged. There will be food and beer/wine for purchase onsite.

Mark your calendar for the Sky Tavern Annual Board Meeting on Wednesday, September 21st, 6PM at the lodge. 

While all Board of Directors meetings are open to the public, once a year the board holds the Annual Meeting where the public and members are actively asked to share their opinions, concerns and maybe even some way-to-goes while the board will be sharing their objectives and successes. This is a member-driven nonprofit organization. Your opinion matters for the future of Sky Tavern. Thank you for being a part of it.
