A super busy week starts now!!

The Certified instructors got together last night to go over next Wednesday, the 17th's instructor orientation. It is all about fun. Don't miss it. This is where what we do for the kids starts! They are going to lead the night, not a boring bald guy.

Instructing is what Sky Tavern is all about and we want to make it simpler, and more fun to get into, so we are going to mix it up a bit. No more sitting in chairs hearing about instructing. Let's get some small groups together, spread out, move and do it.

If you are new to the program, old to the program, not even signed up for the program, a returning instructor, Junior Instructor, or even a little curious about how simple it is to share snowsport with a child, please attend. It will not be a waste of your time, and it matters.

Someone took the time and effort to teach you. Come learn about passing that forward. It is two hours that could change your's and a child's life forever.

SkyKid's Parents Orientation is December 1 in the California Building, Idlewild Park, 7 PM. This will be your time to learn about teaching 4&5-year-old kids. You can pass on the 17th training or come and add to your abilities.

Yes, We will need lots of help making this a great event. We start on Wednesday morning and end Tuesday Morning with cleaning.

Let's face it, winter starts with Warren Miller. The movie is coming back to Reno, Friday the 19th. Yes, the same time as Ski Swap, bummer, but it is Warren Miller. A few of the locations in the trailer look very local.
