SKY TAVERN Announces New Programs, Trails, and Summer Partnerships 

·         The first purpose-built adaptive mountain bike FLOW trail.

·         New summer Bike, Fitness, and Yoga programs through a Partnership with Skiing is Believing, a woman-owned professional coaching and youth sports company.

·         Project Discovery, the leadership challenge course now open

Adaptive Bike Trails

Sky Tavern announced today that the first of many new mountain bike trails will open at the end of June. This trail is the first purpose-built trail that will accommodate adaptive cycling with a Blue/Green rated trail for all ages. The trail is being constructed by Steve Wentz, a renowned mountain bike trail designer.

Summer Youth Programs

Sky Tavern is partnering with Skiing is Believing to offer educational summer programs on the mountain. Beginning on June 18th, kids’ courses on biking, fitness as well as adult yoga will be offered Friday - Sunday through August.

Kids’ fitness programs will enhance their physical conditioning and include strength, balance, agility, aerobic endurance, and injury avoidance.

Bike programs will be offered for kids ages 10 to 16 that will concentrate on skill development and general bike safety. There is a specific course for girls, called Gravity Girls.

Outdoor alpine yoga classes for adults to practice yoga with a fitness component will also be offered.
